A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ashley Beech-Mavrantzas grew up in Roswell, Georgia and attended Georgia Southern University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business. She continued on to Radford University in Virginia and received her Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She applied her education in the Human Resources arena, where she held several high level positions. She made a career move to Jacksonville, Florida and met her husband, George, where they married and became parents to two boys, Christos and Liam.
After several years in the Human Resources field, Ashley decided to pursue her passion of becoming a therapist. With encouragement from her family and friends, she enrolled at Florida State University and received her Master of Social Work. During that time she served in two internship roles at Daniel Memorial and Hubbard House Domestic Violence Shelter. She gained valuable experience with clients who were victims of domestic violence, trauma, and personality disorders. She knew quickly that these were areas of which she would specialize.
