Eleni has an expertise in the treatment of eating disorders in both adolescents and adults. She has completed additional training in “Enhanced” Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT-E) through the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford. Based on recent research, it is the most effective treatment for adults with eating disorders. Eleni also has special interest in helping adolescents with eating disorders and their families. With adolescents she utilizes Family Based Treatment (FBT also known as “Maudsley”). FBT views the family as the greatest asset and resource to helping children recover.
