Professionally, I hold a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia. I consider myself an integrative therapist and draw from cognitive, trauma focused, humanistic, play, mindfulness and existential therapies to best serve the needs of my clients. I enjoy working with individuals and families. One of my favorite forms of therapy is group work because of the powerful nature of the group process. If you are interested in group therapy, please contact me to find out about available openings in our groups.
I am passionate about creating a welcoming, safe and non-judgmental space clients and strive to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality. Therapeutic relationships are built and nurtured on trust and I care very deeply about making sure I can provide a space that offers these qualities.
Personally, I am married and enjoy music, traveling, and crafting. I often find crafting and creativity to be very therapeutic and therefore like to incorporate creative measures in my work with clients. If we have the opportunity to meet, you will quickly learn that I also adore spending time with my dog Sulley and find so much joy and comfort in his company.
Now accepting clients through telemental health means. Telemental health consists of any counseling sessions and additional communication between a therapist and client through HIPPA compliant video-conferencing, phone sessions, email and any other form of communication that is not in person. Telemental health can be beneficial due to an increased sense of flexibility in scheduling, the ability to select the space of your choosing and being able to provide services to those that may have a difficult time travelling or leaving their residence. If you are ready to begin your therapy, or would like to see if telemental health is the right option for you, please contact our office at (904) 992-9930 to set up a consultation.
